Extremely comfy bed in king room with a flat-screen TV with cable channels, climate control, and an individual safe. What an amazing friendly staff.

Its location was very central, 400 metres from Marina do Funchal. The double room was trendy, had a personal safe, air conditioner, and a minibar. Actually everything was modern, my next choice again in Funchal. ...

The noise levels were unbearable, especially from the nightclub nearby. The dim lighting in our room was frustrating, requiring us to use a flashlight just to find our things.

I was welcomed with a passion fruit drink, a nice touch. The views from the rooftop were amazing.

It wasn't exactly inexpensive but still acceptable.

The seaside dining options until midnight provided a perfect late-night treat.

The pool was freezing, making it difficult to enjoy swimming.

The rooftop views were amazing, and the staff was friendly. We enjoyed delicious breakfasts and even had some fun nights out at a nearby nightclub. Don't miss visiting the CR7 Museum, a great way to experience...  

It was just a smart choice for a relaxing holiday in Funchal (Madeira) with reasonable price. Enjoyed the welcome drink upon arrival-it really made us feel at home. Avoid rooms on the street side if you're sensitive to noise.

The staff at Pestana. Miguel surprised us with a bottle of champagne for my wife's birthday. We enjoyed the lovely breakfast spread. Options included fresh fruits and pastries that started our day perfectly. The hotel's location near the marina offered fine views of incoming cruise ships and a nice 7-minute walk to the city center. The club across the street kept us up all night on Friday with loud music. The noise was so intense that it made it hard to sleep. The bathroom cleanliness fell short too. I noticed some hairs in the shower upon arrival. Despite these issues, the rooftop views were lovely. We appreciated the pool area, although it lacked heating was great. Pestana had its ups and downs, but the hospitality made quite an impression.

Loved the location by the harbor! Perfect for strolls and easy access to restaurants. The breakfast spread was mouthwatering, and the staff were super friendly-got a refreshing welcome drink right when we arrived, fab after a long trip. Just wish the wifi was a bit stronger in the rooms.
