The staff at Pestana made everything feel easy. Miguel surprised us with a bottle of champagne for my wife's birthday. The hotel's location near the marina offered stunning views of incoming cruise ships and a nice 7-minute walk to the city center. the club across the street kept us up all night on Friday with loud music. The noise was so intense that it made it hard to sleep. The bathroom cleanliness fell short too. I noticed some hairs in the shower upon arrival. Despite these issues, the rooftop views were spectacular. We appreciated the pool area, although it lacked heating, making it cooler than desired for winter. Pestana had its ups and downs, but the hospitality made quite an impression.
